The Canavese Nebbiolo Rubiolo 2021 by Alberand perfectly embodies the character of the Canavese region, offering a fresh and elegant expression of Nebbiolo grown in the foothills of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The grapes come from vineyards located between Salassa and Valperga, at around 400 meters above sea level, where the alpine climate and glacial soils bring finesse and purity to the wine.
Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, the wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve its varietal integrity and freshness, followed by 12 months of aging in oak barriques to enhance texture and aromatic depth.
In the glass, it displays a bright ruby-red color with light garnet hues. The nose is fragrant and layered, offering fresh floral notes of orange blossom and violet, alongside red berries, cardamom, and citrus peel. The palate is lively yet refined, marked by vivid acidity, mineral tension, and smooth tannins that bring balance and elegance.
Rubiolo 2021 is a modern interpretation of Canavese Nebbiolo, emphasizing drinkability and territorial identity.
