Meursault 2019 Fabien Coche
Fabien Coche's Meursault 2019 is a fine white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Fabien Coche and made from Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of Meursault. The grapes are harvested by hand when they are perfectly ripe.
After pressing the whole bunches, the resulting must is settled at low temperatures and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel vats. Finally, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, 10-15% of which are new, for 12 months, and then a further 6 months in stainless steel tanks, after which it is bottled without filtration.
Fabien Coche's Meursault 2019 presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose expresses fruity notes, enriched by light spicy touches and nuances reminiscent of the scent of honey. The body is medium-bodied, tasty, with a well-balanced sip that highlights a mineral texture and even a slight hint of tannins. A Classic Meursalut that is characterised by elegance and structure at the same time.
