Description

Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2019 Domaine Fabien Coche

Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2019 is a fine white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Fabien Coche and made from Chardonnay grapes grown according to organic farming principles.

It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards located in the Côte d'Or, in the Village of Meursault in Burgundy, from plants of about 50 years of age growing on a type of calcareous clay soil. After the grapes are harvested by hand, they are destemmed, cold stabilized and spontaneously fermented for a minimum of 12 months in French oak vats and 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

The Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2019 has a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections, and mineral and woody notes of acacia and honeysuckle on the nose. The sip is structured but balanced by a nice freshness and minerality, and recalls the nose's hints of fresh white fruit (green and yellow apple, white peach, lime and pear).

DENOMINATION: Bourgogne AOC

REGION: Burgundy (France)

VINEYARDS: 100% Chardonnay

VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting of the grapes, spontaneous fermentation for a minimum of 12 months in French oak vats and 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
