"La Vache qui Tache” 2024 Domaine Aimé Blouzard
Located in the heart of the Mâconnais, in the village of Péronne, between the appellations of Mâcon-Lugny and Viré-Clessé, Domaine Aimé Blouzard is a family estate with deep agricultural roots. Founded by Aimé Blouzard and revitalised in its modern form by Rémi Desmaris, who took over in 2016, the domaine has grown from 5 to 9.5 hectares and is now certified in organic farming, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental respect and vineyard biodiversity.
The vineyards are planted with classic regional grape varieties—Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot Noir—and benefit from a sunny, well-balanced climate that allows for ripe, expressive fruit while maintaining natural freshness. The estate’s philosophy focuses on sustainable viticulture, preserving soil vitality and allowing each parcel to fully express its identity.
La Vache qui Tache 2024 is a 100% Pinot Noir that reflects the more immediate and gourmand side of the Mâconnais. The winemaking approach prioritises fruit purity and drinkability, resulting in a wine that is straightforward yet precise, with no excess extraction or heavy structure.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red colour. The nose is fresh and inviting, offering red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry, complemented by subtle floral notes and a gentle spicy nuance that adds depth without overpowering the fruit.
On the palate, the wine is silky, supple and elegant, with fine, almost powdery tannins and a lively acidity that extends the finish. The texture is smooth and balanced, delivering a refreshing and highly drinkable expression of Pinot Noir.
La Vache qui Tache is an accessible yet well-crafted Burgundy Pinot Noir, ideal for everyday gastronomy. It pairs perfectly with charcuterie, roast poultry, white meats and simple traditional dishes, offering both pleasure and finesse.
