Les Quarterons St Nicolas de Bourgueil Rouge 2016 Domaine Amirault
Les Quarterons St Nicolas de Bourgueil Rouge 2016 is a French natural wine produced by the Domaine Amirault, in the Loire region. It is made from a blend of 95% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon, which come from old vineyards in the San Nicola di Bourgueil vineyard, located on the border between Anjou and Touraine. Here, the vines grow on gentle slopes facing south, protected from the cold north winds by a forest, on gravel and sand on a clay and clay subsoil. The company philosophy is based on careful and sustainable production, and this wine was certified organic in 2012 and biodynamic in 2013: The grapes are exchanged by hand when they are fully ripe, after which they undergo fermentation with maceration in the tank for about 2-3 weeks. , and aging in steel, on fine lees.
