Gevrey-Chambertin 2014 Domaine Louis Boillot
Domaine Louis Boillot's Gevrey Chambertin 2014 is a red wine produced in the Burgundy region of France, in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, considered one of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy.
The grapes used for the production of this wine come from vineyards located on limestone and clay soils, with an ideal southeastern exposure. Harvesting is done by hand to ensure the highest quality of the grapes.
The production of Gevrey-Chambertin 2014 follows traditional winemaking techniques, with natural fermentation in wooden vats and maturation in oak barrels for around 18 months. During the vinification process, efforts are made to maintain the naturalness and authenticity of the wine as much as possible, favouring the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir.
Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Louis Boillot has an intense ruby colour, with a complex and deep aroma of berries, spices and floral notes. The palate is elegant, with a well-balanced structure and soft, yet powerful tannins. The finesse and persistence are remarkable, with a long and pleasant aftertaste.
