La Ricolma 2019 San Giusto a Rentennano

The 'La Ricolma' of the San Giusto a Rentennano winery is a deep, Mediterranean Tuscan red wine, international in character due to the choice of grape variety and barriques for ageing, but nevertheless representative of the terroir of origin: a fine interpretation of Merlot from the Chianti area.

Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and a maceration period on the skins of around 15 days, after which the wine is aged for 22 months in French oak barriques before bottling.

"La Ricolma" 2019 of San Giusto a Rentennano shows an intense ruby red colour, with light garnet notes. The nose offers aromas of small red fruits, citrus fruits, notes of oriental spices, aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean maquis and balsamic hints. The sip is full-bodied, with intense aromaticity and silky tannin.
