"Fior di Rosa" Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico Spumante Extra Dry Guerrieri Rizzardi
Fior di Rosa is the sparkling interpretation of the Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico, crafted as an Extra Dry rosé wine that combines freshness, elegance and versatility. Its name evokes the sense of delicacy and lightness that define this refined sparkling wine.
The grapes come from estate vineyards located on the hills of Bardolino and Cavaion Veronese, within the Bardolino Classico DOC area. The soils, of glacial moraine origin, are stony, well-drained and rich in magnesium, providing the vines with optimal conditions for producing aromatic and balanced fruit. The vines, aged between 3 and 50 years, are trained with traditional systems such as pergola and guyot, ensuring both structure and finesse in the wine.
Harvest is carried out partly early to preserve the essential freshness and acidity. Grapes (80% Corvina, 20% Rondinella with small additions of Sangiovese and Corvinone) are hand- and machine-harvested, destemmed and gently pressed under reduced oxygen conditions to maintain delicate aromas. The must is vinified in stainless steel at controlled temperatures (15–16°C), followed by secondary fermentation with the Charmat method, which creates a fine and persistent mousse.
In the glass, Fior di Rosa displays a delicate pale pink color. The bouquet offers vibrant notes of fresh red berries and subtle spicy hints. On the palate, it is refreshing, crisp and lively, with a creamy perlage and a harmonious balance between fruit and acidity.
This sparkling rosé is best served well chilled (6–8°C) as an aperitif, with summer salads, light starters, pasta with seafood or Asian cuisine. Particularly versatile, it pairs beautifully with Cantonese and Thai dishes.
