Dolcetto d'Alba 2018 is a Piedmontese red wine produced by Flavio Roddolo. He is a pragmatic vigneron and very attached to the territory, a true Langa farmer, perhaps one of the last. Dolcetto is one of his most interesting wines, which manages to reach high levels in his hands at an excellent price. The Dolcetto D'alba by Roddolo is a wine that tells the story of the Langhe territory: made from Dolcetto grapes from 30-year-old vines on a soil composed of silt, tuff, limestone and clay, it expresses an intense nose with hints of ripe fruit, dried violets and roses, earthy notes. The taste is structured and fruity, with a softness that compensates for the presence of fine tannin. A territorial Dolcetto, able to age even for 5-6 years.
