Grand Cuvée 170ème Édition Krug is a fine Champagne that perfectly embodies the philosophy of its founder Joseph Krug: when in 1843 he founded the Maison Krug & Cie, he had only one idea: to create the best Champagne in the world.

Today we continue to follow that model of perfection in order to create a wine that is the highest expression of quality, for every vintage and regardless of the weather.In fact, this Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition is composed by a blend of 195 wines of 12 different vintages.

To the wine of the current vintage (in this case 2013) is blended 20% of reserve wines. All the production steps, starting from the selection of the best grapes, are done with extreme precision in order to guarantee the best result, up to the final phase when the wine is aged on lees in bottle for 7 years before being released on the market. Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition shows a wonderful and warm straw yellow color with golden hues.

The nose offers a complex bouquet of dried fruits such as hazelnut and almond, along with gourmet notes of brioche and honey. The sip is rich, textured, yet endowed with great elegance.

A myth that continues to be handed down, a Champagne that never disappoints.
