Dom Perignon 2013 Moet & Chandon

Dom Perignon 2013 is one of the world's most prestigious Champagnes, produced by the house of Moët & Chandon with grapes from the Champagne region of France.

The grapes used to produce Dom Perignon 2013 are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, selected from the best vineyards in the region. These grapes are grown using traditional and sustainable viticulture methods to get the most out of the land, the climate and the grapes themselves. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected to ensure the highest quality.

The winemaking process for Dom Perignon 2013 uses the Champenoise method, which involves a double fermentation of the wine. After the first fermentation in wooden barrels, the wine is bottled with added sugar and yeast for a second fermentation. After this phase, the wine undergoes a long process of bottle ageing on the lees, which can last up to more than 7 years.

At disgorgement, the bottles of Dom Perignon 2013 are opened and the deposited yeasts are removed manually. This process gives the wine the right amount of effervescence, without altering the original flavour.

The result is an elegant and complex wine with an intense aroma and a unique flavour. The 2013 Dom Perignon has a luminous golden colour, accompanied by a fine and persistent mousse. On the nose, notes of ripe fruit, citrus fruits and white flowers emerge, enriched by hints of spices and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is full and complex, with a perfectly balanced structure, characterised by vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish.

The 2013 Dom Perignon is an extraordinary wine that fully expresses the characteristics of the terroir from which it comes. Thanks to its complexity and refinement, it lends itself to pairing with fine dishes, such as shellfish, fish and white meats, but can also be enjoyed on its own, as a meditation wine. Its intense aroma and complex flavour make it a unique and unmistakable wine that deserves to be enjoyed with care and respect.
