Chambave Muscat Passito “Fletri” 2019 La Vrille
The Chambave Muscat Passito “Fletri” 2019 from La Vrille is an elegant dessert wine from the Valle d’Aosta DOC, crafted from Moscato Bianco grapes grown at around 650 meters above sea level on the sunny slopes of Chambave. This mountain terroir, with its strong temperature variations, gives the wine remarkable aromatic intensity and finesse.
The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully dried to concentrate sugars and aromas before undergoing a slow fermentation and maturation in the cellar. The result is a harmonious and expressive wine that captures the pure essence of the Moscato grape in its most delicate and refined form.
In the glass, it shines with a straw-yellow color and golden highlights. The nose reveals a rich bouquet of candied fruit, barley candy, ripe peach, dried flowers, and a hint of flint. On the palate, it’s fresh yet enveloping, with a silky texture and remarkable persistence that balances sweetness and minerality.
