Bourgogne Rouge 2018 is a French red wine from the Burgundy region produced by Domaine Jean Philippe Fichet. The Pinot Noir grapes that make up the cuvée come from two different types of terroir: "The Lameroses" are on loamy, black and very rich soils. "Les Dressolles" has a slightly more sandy loam, deep soils with great regularity of production. Fichet's Bourgogne Rouge 2018 is bright ruby red in color; it is a generous and pleasant wine, with an intense aromatic profile that plays on the red fruit. A very enjoyable entry level, to drink in your youth.
