The Barbera d'Alba by Olek Bondonio, masterfully crafted at Cascina La Berchialla in Barbaresco, is a red wine that harmonizes density and freshness, delineating an extraordinarily smooth progression. Barbaresco, a renowned municipality in the Langhe, frames 4 hectares of vineyards managed by Olek Bondonio, dedicated to traditional varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Pelaverga. In 1999, after agricultural studies, sporting success, and global experiences, Olek embraced his grandfather's vineyards with an authentic production philosophy.

Barbera d'Alba Olek Bondonio - Cascina La Berchialla is exclusively made from Barbera grapes cultivated for over 30 years without pesticides or herbicides. Following manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation and about 14 days of skin maceration ensue. The wine ages in large barrels and steel tanks, without clarification or filtration operations, preserving the ecosystem.

The intense ruby red color introduces a complex olfactory bouquet of red fruit, blackberry flowers, and hints of toasty and spicy notes.
