Barbaresco 2020 Bevione
Barbaresco 2020 from the Bevione winery is a wine of great elegance and complexity, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the renowned vineyards of the Barbaresco area. The vineyards, located at an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level, are planted on clay-limestone soils with sandy veins, ideal for enhancing the characteristics of Nebbiolo.
Vinification begins with manual harvesting of the grapes, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where the clusters are left to macerate on the skins for about 28 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 20 months in large 50-hectoliter oak barrels, a process that helps develop its aromatic complexity and structure.
Barbaresco 2020 shows a garnet red color with ruby highlights. On the nose, it offers an intense and persistent bouquet, with aromas of small berries such as currant, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, followed by elegant notes of rose, tobacco, rhubarb and dark spices. On the palate, the wine is vivid, warm and enveloping, characterized by a pleasant freshness and soft tannins that give a long and harmonious finish.
This Barbaresco pairs perfectly with meat dishes, aged cheeses and typical Piedmontese cuisine, offering a refined and satisfying tasting experience.
