Vosne-Romanée Clos des Réas 1er Cru Rouge is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Michel Gros. The grapes come from a terroir characterised by a subsoil of limestone and marl, which gives the wines great elegance, richness of fruit and an intense harmony of taste. This wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months. It is an elegant and refined red wine that presents itself in the glass with a wonderful intense ruby red colour, while the nose expresses refined and complex aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry, with important spicy notes in the background. The sip is full-bodied, the fruity scents we perceived on the nose are recognisable, and it is characterised by soft tannins and a notable freshness which, among other things, predisposes it to long ageing.
