Volcano Rosato 2018 Monterosso Farm

Volcano Rosato 2018 is a natural rosé wine produced in Sicily by Monterosso. It is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes from vineyards between 70 and 100 years exposed to the south-east, cultivated in the Alberello Egeo, an ancient form of breeding, according to principles of organic agriculture. The choice of obtaining low yields (although the vines are densely planted) was taken because the vines are very old, the pruning is intense and the soils are poor, which give rise to complex and concentrated wines. The Volcano Rosato 2018 expresses a beautiful soft pink / gold color; the nose expresses fruity hints of cherry, raspberry, flowers, vegetable notes and lots of minerality. The sip is strong, fruity with cherry and blueberry, a savory and mineral finish: a fascinating wine.
