Rosato Elatis 2019 Burlotto

Rosato Elatis 2019 is a Piedmontese wine produced by Burlotto. It is made from a blend of autochthonous red berried grapes from Piedmont, with Nebbiolo as base, plus the addition of a percentage of other grapes such as Barbera which gives color and acidity and Pelaverga to give a touch of spicy and aromatic.

The idea of Fabio Alessandria with the "complicity" of his mother Marina Burlotto gave life to the first vintage of this rose wine released in 2004, at that time it was called Teres and after some years it was renamed Elatis. This wine shows in the glass a beautiful and luminous salmon pink color, whereas to the nose it expresses a bouquet of great elegance made of aromas of white peach, black currant, cherry and citrus fruits, as well as touches of aromatic herbs and rosemary in particular which characterize Barolo di Verduno.

There can also be perceived a spicy hint of pepper given by Pelaverga, while the taste is round, full and fresh at the same time, very balanced and enjoyable.
