Roero Arneis DOCG 2022 Valdinera
The Roero Arneis DOCG 2022 by Valdinera comes from historic vineyards planted in 1978 on the hills of Corneliano d’Alba, one of the most prestigious areas of the Roero appellation. The loose sandy soils with tuff veins play a crucial role, enhancing drainage and light reflection while preserving aromatic finesse and balance in the grapes.
Vines are trained using the Guyot system and planted at elevations between 280 and 310 meters above sea level. Grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September, ensuring optimal ripeness and freshness. In the cellar, Valdinera follows a minimalist and respectful approach: gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, preserving varietal purity and clarity.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. The bouquet reveals delicate aromas of green apple, apricot and peach, complemented by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is smooth, fruit-driven and well-balanced, with refreshing acidity and a clean, harmonious finish. A Roero Arneis that perfectly reflects Valdinera’s philosophy: precision, drinkability and a true sense of place, with the potential to evolve gracefully over time.
