Ca’ Lojera is a family-run winery on the shores of Lake Garda, founded in 1992 by Ambra and Franco Tiraboschi. The name means “House of the Wolves,” inspired by an ancient local legend. The estate cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards around Sirmione, producing authentic, mineral Lugana wines that reflect their terroir. With a sustainable approach and deep respect for the Turbiana grape, Ca’ Lojera crafts elegant, fresh wines that embody the spirit of Lake Garda.

Ca’ Lojera is one of the most genuine and passionate wineries of the Lugana DOC, located on the southern shores of Lake Garda. Founded in 1992 by Ambra and Franco Tiraboschi, the estate was born almost by chance: initially planning to sell their grapes, the couple decided to make their own wine, giving life to a project that would redefine their future.

The name “Ca’ Lojera,” meaning “House of the Wolves” in the local dialect, recalls a legend of smugglers who once hid goods along the lake’s shores, guarded by packs of wolves. Today, it stands as a symbol of courage, authenticity, and devotion to this unique terroir.

The 20 hectares of vineyards are mainly dedicated to Turbiana, the local clone of Trebbiano di Lugana, grown on white clay soils near Sirmione. Other varieties such as Marzemino, Groppello, Sangiovese, Barbera, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive on stony hillside soils. Sustainable viticulture, manual harvesting, and temperature-controlled fermentations in stainless steel ensure wines of clarity and precision.

Ca’ Lojera’s style reflects purity and minerality, expressed through a diverse range of wines—from fresh and vibrant Lugana to complex, age-worthy versions, and elegant Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Each bottle captures the essence of the Garda landscape, offering balance, elegance, and remarkable longevity.

Today, Ca’ Lojera stands among the finest ambassadors of Lugana, producing wines of great personality and territorial identity, true expressions of “the lord of the great lake.”
