Nicolas Joly's Savennieres Les Vieux Clos is a natural white wine from the Loire region that is simply unbeatable.

A fat and opulent wine, but one that retains its elegance and drinkability.

The power is impactful at times, but it is the minerality that balances the palate well.

A wine to be uncorked a couple of hours before drinking it to allow proper oxygenation.

This extraordinary 100% Chenin Blanc underwent spontaneous fermentation and an eight-month maturation on its fine lees in second-passage tonneaux.

A wine of long ageing with great olfactory intensity and also suitable as a meditation wine (i.e. to be drunk alone).

If you want to pair it with food, shellfish are perfect.
