Langhe Nebbiolo 2019 Bartolo Mascarello

Langhe Nebbiolo 2019 is a fine Piedmontese wine from the master Bartolo Mascarello. It is a fresh interpretation of the great Langhe grape variety, made from the best grapes from different plots on the estate. Fermentation takes place in cement vats, with a short maceration on the skins and a light extraction, to maintain the primary characteristics of the grapes. Subsequently, the wine matures for 9 months in large oak barrels, in accordance with tradition. In the glass it shows a ruby red colour with light garnet reflections. The nose expresses a refined bouquet of floral scents of violets, small red fruits, spicy, herbaceous and balsamic notes. The taste is medium-bodied, with tannins present but silky, fruity and aromatic. The finish is very persistent, with a fresh and savoury closure.

BARTOLO MASCARELLO

Bartolo Mascarello is a legendary name of Barolo and Langhe, a small producer who made the history of the appellation and of Piedmontese wine. Today the winery is run by Bartolo's daughter, Maria Teresa Mascarello, who carries on an artisanal production among which stands out, like a diamond, a single label of Barolo which, according to tradition, combines several crus in a single bottle.
