Langhe Bianchi Solea 2019 Roagna
The Langhe Bianchi Solea 2019 from Roagna is a distinguished white wine crafted from grapes grown in the historic Pira vineyard located between Serralunga and Perno in Castiglione Falletto. This vineyard, facing southeast and formed by the disintegration of the Rocche, hosts a Chardonnay planting dating back to the 1980s, blended here with a portion of Nebbiolo.
Harvest takes place manually in a single day in September to ensure perfect physiological ripeness, with grapes carefully handpicked in small crates. Before pressing, the fruit undergoes two rounds of manual selection to guarantee integrity. Fermentation occurs exclusively in wooden vats, driven by a pied de cuve of native yeasts, lasting about ten days.
The wine then ages for approximately two years in neutral oak barrels, preserving freshness, complexity, and a strong sense of place. Production is very limited, between 1500 and 2000 bottles per vintage, each bottle numbered on the label to emphasize craftsmanship and exclusivity.
A unique, elegant white wine that embodies tradition, terroir, and passion.
