IGT Passito Veneto delle Fontane 2014 is a sweet passito wine produced by Graziano Pra winery from Veneto. Processed using natural methods with no added sulfites, it is made from 100% Garganega grapes, from 40-60 year old vines from vineyards located at 150 m above sea level facing south, on volcanic soils. After a meticulous selection of grapes, they are dried in the fruttaio for one month. Fermentation takes place at 18° C in steel tanks, as well as the aging process. Of a luminous golden color, this Passito Veneto delle Fontane di Graziano Pra offers an intense and complex nose of apricot and peach jam, candied citrus fruit, dried fruit and honey. The palate is rich and full bodied, balanced and persistent. Perfect in combination with dry desserts, it is also excellent with aged and blue cheeses, but also liver and foie gras.
