Cornas Rebelle 2016 David Reynaud

Cornas "Rebelle" 2016 is a Rhône Valley red wine produced by Domaine David Reynaud. It is made from 100% Syrah grapes from 60-year-old vines located in the heart of the Crozes Hermitage appellation, on a terroir of clay-limestone terraces with soil drained by disintegrated pebbles. The yields are very low, the grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, after which they are totally destemmed and the vinification is carried out in the traditional way in rough cement tanks. Cornas Rebelle has an intense red colour, and on the nose it expresses an intense bouquet with aromas of fruit (raspberry), followed by spicy and liquorice notes. The taste is fruity and gourmand, structured and suitable for long ageing.
