Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Cabrières" 2021 by Elodie Jaume is a true and unique expression of this prestigious appellation. This is Elodie's very first release of this wine, and it is a triumph.

Crafted with Grenache grapes and a touch of Mourvèdre and Syrah from old bush vines planted on sandy soils, this wine will open your mind to the potential delicacy that Grenache can achieve in this part of the world.

It is so refined, smooth, elegant, packed full of cherry fruits and layers of flavor with a mild, almost honeyed edge. The wine spent just under two years in a concrete egg before being bottled in the summer of 2023.

This blend undergoes a gentle extraction process, resulting in a wine that is surprisingly light yet undeniably powerful. It presents black fruits intertwined with hints of sweet spice and layers of herbal notes. A pure expression of this appellation.
