It is made from Chardonnay grapes from the 1er Cru Maltroie vineyard, located in the center of Chassagne Montrachet, with land that gives the wines great structure and minerality. This precious Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie 2016 presents a classic profile of the terroir of origins with a great elegance: bright straw yellow color, the nose expresses a generous bouquet of white fruit such as apple and pear, and then veers towards mineral tones, of stone wet, with delicate floral and vanilla touches of wood. The sip is deep, dense, fresh and balanced, with a very long savory finish. It is a prestigious Chardonnay that takes a few years before it can express its best.
