Pinot Noir grapes come from the Grand Cru Charmes Chambertin vineyard of the same name, located in the southern part of Gevrey Chambertin, in Burgundy. It is a label of great class and quality, which is 80% refined in new wood. Bright ruby red in color, the nose expresses a fresh and fruity bouquet while in the mouth it has a good structure, delicate tannins and final spiciness. It has a great evolutionary capacity, and is an example of how Tortochot is always capable of giving exciting and surprising wines.

Domaine Tortochot is located in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Brigitte and Chantal Tortochot guide the reins of the company with the utmost respect for the traditions of Burgundy: low yields, organic farming is practised in the vineyard where the only fertilisers given to the soil are biodynamic preparations. Harvesting is manual, fermentation is spontaneous and the wines are aged in 100% new barriques for the Grands Crus, 50% for the Premier Cru and 25% for the Villages for a period of 15 to 18 months. The wines of the domaine Tortochot are products of the highest quality from prestigious terroirs.
