Champagne Prestige Magnum 2010 Michel Furdyna
Champagne Prestige 2010 Michel Furdyna is one of the most refined expressions of Michel Furdyna’s craftsmanship, a grower-producer based in the Côte des Bar. This vintage Champagne is produced only in outstanding years, when grapes achieve a perfect natural balance between ripeness, freshness and aromatic depth.
The blend is composed of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, sourced from clay-limestone soils in Celles-sur-Ource, which provide minerality, tension and structure. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks, preserving purity and precision of the fruit.
Malolactic fermentation is fully carried out, softening the natural acidity and enhancing roundness on the palate. The wine then undergoes an extended ageing of 60 months on lees, developing complexity, creamy texture and layered aromatic intensity.
On the nose, it reveals fresh green apple, citrus notes, vanilla and almond, evolving into a deeper and more sophisticated bouquet over time in the glass. On the palate it is expressive, vibrant yet generous, with a long, elegant and persistent finish.
The Michel Furdyna signature reflects a precise and consistent style, making this cuvée ideal both as a gastronomic aperitif and as a pairing for rich dishes such as foie gras or creamy poultry recipes. A vintage Champagne that perfectly embodies the character of great years.
