Champagne Brut Premier Magnum Louis Roederer
The cuvée of this champagne is composed of a selection of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes from different vineyards in the Champagne region. Specifically, the grapes used to make this wine come from vineyards located in the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs.
The winemaking techniques used to produce Roederer's Champagne Brut Premier are rigorous and sophisticated. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed to extract only the highest quality must. Next, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to ensure a slow and homogeneous fermentation. Next, the base wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, following the traditional Champagne method. This stage takes place in the maison's cellars, where the wine is aged on the lees for at least 3 years.
Roederer's Champagne Brut Premier has a brilliant straw yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose has notes of ripe fruit, citrus, white flowers and a delicate toasted note. In the mouth, it is fresh, balanced and creamy, with pleasant acidity and a note of dried fruit that lingers on the finish.
