Champagne Tradition Pierre Brigandat
Pierre Brigandat’s Champagne Tradition is a pure and expressive example of Côte des Bar Champagne, a southern region known for its Pinot Noir-driven cuvées. Produced by Bertrand Brigandat, a small independent grower committed to natural viticulture, this Brut cuvée showcases finesse and personality.
Crafted entirely from Pinot Noir, the grapes come from sustainably farmed vineyards in Channes. The base wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and is aged in a mix of steel and neutral oak. The second fermentation occurs in bottle (traditional method), followed by around 24 months on the lees.
In the glass, it displays a bright golden color with a fine mousse. The nose offers delicate notes of red apple, citrus peel, wild berries, brioche, and light spices. The palate is fresh, dry, balanced, with a clean mineral finish.
Perfect as an aperitif, but also excellent with seafood, poultry, or mild cheeses, this is a wine for Champagne lovers who value authentic, grower-made expressions.
