Description

Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Lilbert-Fils

The Blanc de Blancs Brut of Lilbert-Fils is the basic Champagne of the company's range (composed of three Cuvées, one of which is produced in very limited quantities), a classic of Cramant. In fact, this prestigious Grand Cru of the Cote des Blancs, characterised by a soil made up of a thick layer of pure chalk that reaches almost to the surface, (with no other sedimentary layers as is the case elsewhere in Champagne), gives life to very mineral and straight wines. This non-vintage Blanc de Blancs Brut has a lovely straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights, and an elegant nose of flowers and clear mineral accents. The taste is very dry and extremely fresh, characteristics that make this Champagne a pure expression of the terroir of origin.
