Barolo Terlo 2010 Camerano
Barolo Terlo 2010 by Camerano is one of the most authentic and traditional expressions of the Barolo area, crafted from historic family-owned vineyards located in the renowned Terlo cru. This hillside site in the municipality of Barolo has always been recognised for its ideal exposure and marl-rich soils, capable of delivering Nebbiolo wines of remarkable elegance, depth and ageing potential. Camerano cultivates the classic Nebbiolo clones Michet and Lampia, selected for aromatic intensity and structural finesse.
Vinification follows a strictly traditional approach, with a 20–22 day maceration in steel and cement tanks that ensures a slow and complete extraction. Ageing takes place in large Slavonian oak casks of 30 and 50 hl for at least three years, followed by additional bottle maturation, essential to refine the wine’s balance and complexity.
In the glass, Barolo Terlo 2010 reveals an intense ruby colour with garnet nuances. The nose opens with layers of wild berries, liquorice, dried violets, earthy truffle notes and delicate spices. On the palate it is full-bodied, elegant and rich in texture, driven by polished tannins and a vibrant freshness that extends the finish. The persistence is long and harmonious, with lingering spicy and balsamic tones.
A Barolo for lovers of tradition, ideal with game, braised dishes, roasted meats and aged cheeses. A bottle that embodies the heritage of Barolo and the deep connection of the Camerano family to their land.
