Barolo DOCG Liste 2010 Borgogno
The Barolo DOCG Liste 2010 is produced from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the renowned MGA Liste vineyard in the municipality of Barolo. South and south-east facing vineyards at 270–330 meters above sea level grow on calcareous clay marls rich in rocky elements, formed approximately 11 million years ago. This unique geological origin provides a remarkable concentration of macro and micro elements, contributing to the wine’s complexity and longevity.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously without added yeasts for around 12 days, followed by an extended submerged-cap maceration lasting 40–60 days at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for four years in large Slavonian oak casks and an additional six months in bottle before release.
The wine reveals classic Barolo aromas of dried rose, violet, tar, liquorice and spice, supported by balsamic and mineral undertones. Structured and refined on the palate, with firm yet elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish, it offers exceptional ageing potential.
