Barbera d'Alba 2019 Sandrone
Barbera D'Alba 2019 is a fine wine produced by Luciano Sandrone. It comes from a blend of grapes from seven estate vineyards located in different areas: Monforte d'Alba, Novello and Barolo, in the cradle of the Langhe. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately, with spontaneous fermentation and soft maceration in open steel tanks. The wine then ages first 12 months in French oak tonneaux and then a further 9 months, minimum, in the bottle. Barbera d'Alba Sandrone has a deep ruby red colour. The nose expresses a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherry, plum and raspberry, which blend with notes of chocolate, herbs and spices. The sip is well balanced between warmth and freshness, structure and elegance, for a silky tannin and a long persistence of taste and smell.
