Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo 2014 Gaja 

Barbaresco Gaja Sorì San Lorenzo is one of Italy's finest wines. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes in the cru of the same name in the municipality of Barbaresco. It is a wine with a great longevity, thanks to the work of Angelo Gaja, a name that has entered by right in the world elite, Gaja wines are recognized worldwide for quality and high level.

Gaja Sorì San Lorenzo, like the other wines of the Gaja winery, is made from selected grapes harvested by hand, fermented in steel vats, then Gaja ages for 12 months in barriques and another 12 months in large casks, to obtain a structured and deep wine, a great expression of Italian red wine.

The Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo Gaja is garnet-coloured in the glass with slight orange reflections, the nose is complex, with notes of ripe fruit jam, undergrowth, herbs, violets and many varieties of spices. In the mouth the wine is full-bodied, with an excellent elegance given by the perfect balance between freshness and tannic texture, the finish is long and persistent.

The Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo Gaja is certainly one of the best Italian fine wines, a top-level label that confirms year after year the excellent work of the winery led by Angelo Gaja.
