Auxey Duresses Blanc 2020 is a fine wine produced by the Domaine Jean Philippe Fichet. The 100% Chardonnay grapes come from about half a hectare divided between the parcels of Les Nampoillons and Les Closeaux. The first is located on the border with St. Romain, facing south and rests on very pebbly white marl soils. The second is located in the opposite part of the municipality close to Meursault. It has a bright straw yellow color, a nose with a strong smoky profile, a characteristic that derives from the composition of the terroir, with fresh notes of citrus and mineral salts. The sip is direct and lively, with a good structure. A wine that needs a few years to express itself to the best of its ability.
