The Sylvaner of Domaine Albert Boxler is a white wine with a long tradition and has been produced by the Boxlers for generations. The winery covers 14 hectares of granite terroir around Niedermorschwihr and produces mainly white wines such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner and Muscat à Petits Grains Blancs.

ALBERT BOXLER

Albert Boxler is a famous wine producer in Alsace with a history dating back to the late 17th century. The founder, Jean Boxler, left Switzerland to settle in Niedermorschwihr and start producing wine in 1673. The estate was handed down from generation to generation and Albert Boxler and his wife took over the winery and renamed it Domaine Albert Boxler. They expanded the vineyards by acquiring land on the Sommerberg hill and introduced wine bottling. In 1962, the winery was taken over by Jean-Marc Boxler who continued to improve the quality of the wine.
