Tenuta San Francesco, fine wines from Campania

Tenuta San Francesco is located in Tramonti, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The winery is located in a historical farm of the 1700's, and is advised by the famous enologist from Irpinia, Carmine Valentino. It was established in 2004 by four partners: Gaetano and Generoso Bove, Vincenzo D'Avino and Luigi Giordano, with the goal of producing great wines that would exalt the territory.

This magical area, Unesco World Heritage Site, is called the "green lung" of the Amalfi Coast, rich in terraces torn from the mountain, cultivated with vines, lemons and olive trees. Here is practiced the so called "heroic viticulture", just because reaching the vineyards located in impervious positions is difficult, moreover the vines are more than centenarian and produce unique wines, of great character and quality.

They are mainly cultivated with autochthonous vines of the area such as Tintore, Piedirosso, Pepella, Falanghina and Ginestra which imprison in their bunches the history, the aromas and the flavors of this ancient land.
