Nephew of Henry Jayer and as such in the Olympus of the great Burgundy.
From him he learned the secrets of winemaking and thanks to land in the most suitable areas of Vosne Romanee and Flagy Echezeaux gives life to memorable, unique and deep wines. Very low yields in the vineyard, continuous research of freshness and acidity, cold premacerazone and careful use of the woods.
Today the Domaine has 7.15 hectares of the world famous Clos Parantoux, produced for the first time by Jayer in 1978.
