Located in the very core of the Côte de Nuits, in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Roblot-Marchand represents a deeply rooted Burgundian family estate with more than four generations of viticultural heritage. Over time, the family has developed a coherent and well-structured vineyard holdings of approximately 8 hectares, spread across some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy.
The domaine’s vineyards are ideally positioned within Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin, three iconic terroirs that express different facets of Pinot Noir: from delicate floral finesse and silky texture to deeper, more structured and spicy profiles. This diversity allows the estate to craft wines that reflect both the individuality of each climat and a consistent stylistic identity across the range.
Since 2001, the technical direction of the estate has been entrusted to Frédéric Roblot, working alongside his wife Andrée, who joined the domaine in 2005. Together they ensure continuity, precision and a hands-on approach to every stage of vineyard and cellar work, maintaining a direct connection with each parcel.
The viticultural philosophy is based on sustainable farming practices, with integrated pest management applied across all vineyards. Chemical inputs are kept to a strict minimum, while regular ploughing is carried out to aerate the soils and preserve their natural vitality. This careful balance aims to sustain long-term vineyard health while enhancing the pure expression of the fruit.
In the cellar, winemaking is designed to faithfully reflect the character of each terroir. Fermentation and élevage are carefully managed, with ageing in French oak barrels for 16 to 18 months, depending on the vintage. This maturation period adds structure and complexity while preserving the elegance and finesse typical of the Côte de Nuits.
The resulting wines are defined by a clear and consistent signature: elegance, aromatic precision and silky texture, where each cuvée acts as an honest interpretation of its origin. Through this approach, Domaine Roblot-Marchand has established itself as a reliable and respected reference in Burgundy, combining family tradition with a refined, terroir-driven philosophy.
