Vinified entirely in the heart of the city, each cuvée expresses a unique blend of terroir, creativity, and low-intervention craftsmanship.

Les Chais du Port de la Lune is an unconventional winery project born in the heart of Bordeaux, with a mission to revisit the region’s rich viticultural heritage through a sustainable, urban, and creative approach. Founded by a group of friends and wine professionals, the label operates as an urban micro-negociant: rather than owning vineyards, they carefully select grapes from small local growers who work with native varieties and organic or agroforestry-inspired practices.

All vinification takes place right inside the city, in a repurposed cellar in the UNESCO-listed “Port de la Lune” district of Bordeaux — a nod to the name of the project. Within this urban setting, the team crafts each wine as a handmade, one-of-a-kind creation, emphasizing old-vine complantations, gentle macerations, spontaneous fermentations, and ageing in old barrels. Additives and excessive interventions are avoided in favor of letting the fruit speak for itself.

The result is a lineup of free-spirited, living wines, full of character and vibrant energy. The aesthetic choices — from cryptic symbols to heraldic references — enrich the experience, turning each bottle into an invitation to question, explore, and taste Bordeaux from a new angle.
