Laureano Serres, expressive wines of Spain

Laureano Serres is a Spanish winery in the small town of El Pinell de Brai in Catalonia. They produce wines from the area's indigenous grape varieties in a completely natural way, almost by accident:

in 2002 Laureano forgot to add sulphur dioxide to one of the ageing vats, and soon realised that he had obtained wines that were more expressive and territorial and still stable.

Since then he has continued to make wine in this way, adopting the same sustainable practices in the vineyard: minimal intervention, no chemicals, indigenous yeasts. Today, Laureano Serres has become a reference in Spain in the field of natural wines.
