Domaine Gruss, located in the historic village of Eguisheim, is a renowned Alsace winery producing high-quality wines for three generations. The Gruss family has roots dating back to the 1600s, but modern winemaking began in the early 20th century with Eugène Gruss, who started trading wine. His son Joseph shifted the family tradition towards a dedicated winery, cultivating vineyards and producing wines under the Gruss name.

Since 2001, André Gruss, a skilled oenologist, has modernized the winery and its equipment while maintaining a production philosophy based on common sense. Harvesting is entirely manual, vinification takes place in old oak barrels, and every stage is carefully controlled, ensuring authenticity and preserving the unique characteristics of each vintage.

The winery places a strong emphasis on territory and environmental respect: vineyards are managed according to organic farming principles, using only organic fertilizers and cover crops, avoiding chemicals. This careful approach produces grapes that are pure, concentrated, and expressive of the Alsace terroir and seasonal conditions.
