Garesio Vini is a winery located in Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of Piedmont, known for producing high quality wines from the company's properties scattered in different parts of the region.
Founded in the early 2000s, the Garesio family, acquired about 20 hectares of land dedicated to winemaking. These properties are located in different areas of Piedmont, including Serralunga d'Alba, the heart of the Barolo Langhe, Incisa Scapaccino and Castelnuovo Calcea in Monferrato, and Perletto in Alta Langa.
In addition to the search for valuable land, the family has dedicated itself to the recovery and redevelopment of a historic farmhouse located in Serralunga d'Alba. This renovation has transformed the winery into an elegant, charming complex where visitors can understand, appreciate and taste the extraordinary beauty of the Serralunga and Barolo hills, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Azienda Garesio has a clear production philosophy based on the idea that wine should be the most authentic expression of the territory, always welcoming and approachable. Winemaking is done in the traditional way, using the best technologies to preserve the varietal purity of the wine without overdoing it, but also without losing its essence. The awareness that each vintage is unique and has a singular character pushes the winery to adapt the vinifications to the peculiarities of each vintage. Fermentation and maceration take place in steel barrels with delicate and balanced extractions, in keeping with tradition. Wood is used with extreme care, favoring large and medium-sized ones, such as tonneaux and Austrian oak barrels.
For their flagship wines, the winery uses Stockinger barrels, which are made of Austrian woods aged at least 7 years, in order to refine and refine the character of their Serralunga Barolo wines.
