Alexis and Emilie are a couple originally from the department of Doubs north of the Jura. Driven by a passion for wine, Alexis decided to launch, in his early twenties, for two seasons at the Domaine de la Tournelle where, together with Pascal Clairet, he began to discover the approach of organic viticulture and sulphite-free vinification. Alexis, after this experience, decides that this was his way, he calls his partner in Jura (who works as a child educator) and signs up for a course in viticulture and enology that will allow him to access subsidies state for young winemakers.

Meanwhile he started working with Bruno Ciofi at Domaine de la Pinte. In 2010 they bought a house and the first 3ha of vineyards located right in front of the building. Immediately they converted the surface for a biological viticulture, they started to work the soil and to treat only with copper and sulfur and some biodynamic preparations. It is 2011 and the first 8,000 bottles of wine are bottled up in excitement, they are crying with happiness, it was the beginning of adventure. Alexis continues to work part-time at Domaine de la Pinte until 2016, where he meets the new manager, Samuel Berger. Meanwhile, Emilie also began her training in viticulture and oenology to work alongside her partner.

Today they have 4.7 hectares of vineyard, they are 100% in the company finally, even if they are not helped by the recent difficult vintages they try with all their strength to resist. Perhaps the reason for all this is the fact that they love their wines, completely natural, without sulphites, sometimes with hazards of carbonic macerations of 6 or 7 months. It is said that among the 2016 Alexis Ploussard is the one that most impressed all the producers! Production "allowing vintages" means around 18-20 thousand bottles.
