Curto Marco, authentic wines from Langa

The Curto Marco winery was founded about 60 years ago in La Morra, in the Langhe region, by Marco and Adele, who have been joined by their daughter Nadia since 2000. The family personally takes care of cultivating their 4 hectares of vineyards according to the principles of natural agriculture, with full respect for the environment and the authenticity of their products.

The utmost attention is paid to all stages of production, from the vineyard to the winery: the vineyards are cultivated without the use of invasive chemical products, replacing them with natural fertilisers, the harvest is carried out by hand, as is the selection of the grapes, which are placed in small ventilated crates to maintain their freshness.

Fermentation is carried out using only indigenous yeasts with manual pumping-over and punching-down, and the wines are neither filtered nor clarified. Curto Marco's wines are obtained from native Piedmontese vines and represent an attempt to enhance the Langhe terroir in an authentic way.
