Cantine dell'Angelo, authentic wines from Campania

Cantine dell'Angelo is a Campanian winery, owned by the Muto family, which was established in 1970 and is now run by Angelo, who belongs to the third generation of the family. The winery has 5 hectares of vineyards where Greco di Tufo is exclusively cultivated and they are divided in a plot in the area called Campanaro, which is located on the ancient sulfur mines of Polveriera, and in one with secular vines in the historical Torrefavale vineyard.

Here soils are rich in minerals and sulfur emanations give the wine particular characteristics. In the vineyard is followed a type of sustainable agriculture and very respectful of the environment, in fact is not practiced weedkilling and harvesting is exclusively manual, as well as the selection of grapes. Grapes undergo a soft pressing and a fermentation on indigenous yeasts at low temperature, which allows the preservation of the original aromas of the grapes.

The wine obtained in this way, without any clarification, naturally ages in steel containers, giving a liquid of very high quality and with unique characteristics. Cantine dell'Angelo's wines are valuable and endowed with an intense minerality, crispness and smoothness, a Greco di Tufo capable of representing in an excellent way the terroir of Irpinia.
