List of products by brand ADRIEN BERLIOZ

Domaine Adrien Berlioz is one of the leading estates of the new generation of Savoie winemakers, combining Alpine tradition, biodynamic farming and a deep commitment to terroir expression. Established in Chignin in 2006, the estate cultivates indigenous grape varieties across small limestone-clay parcels, crafting wines of remarkable precision, freshness and authenticity. Each bottle captures the vibrant identity of one of France’s most exciting emerging wine regions.

Domaine Adrien Berlioz has become one of the benchmark estates of modern Savoie, embodying a thoughtful and artisanal approach to Alpine viticulture. Based in the village of Chignin, Adrien Berlioz founded the estate in 2006 after taking over his family’s vineyards and developing a vision centred on sustainability, biodiversity and the authentic expression of terroir. He is also the cousin of Gilles Berlioz, one of Savoie’s most influential biodynamic pioneers, and together they have helped redefine the reputation of the region’s wines.

Today the estate covers just over 8 hectares, divided into 17 individual vineyard parcels scattered around Chignin. Each plot benefits from distinct exposures, elevations and geological characteristics, with predominantly clay-limestone soils rich in mineral content and often located on steep Alpine slopes that require meticulous manual work. Adrien focuses exclusively on traditional Savoie grape varieties, cultivating Jacquère, Bergeron (Roussanne), Altesse and Malvoisie for white wines, alongside Mondeuse, Persan and Douce Noire for reds. Preserving these native varieties is central to the estate’s philosophy and to its faithful interpretation of the region.

Environmental respect has always been at the heart of the domaine. Certified organic since 2012 and biodynamic since 2020, the vineyards are farmed without herbicides, chemical fertilisers or synthetic products. Great care is devoted to soil vitality and natural vineyard balance. In the cellar, the same minimalist philosophy prevails: spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, gentle handling and carefully judged ageing in stainless steel or oak barrels, depending on the character of each cuvée, always seeking purity rather than oak influence.

The wines of Domaine Adrien Berlioz stand out for their remarkable energy, precision and unmistakable mineral signature. The white wines combine tension, freshness and layered complexity, while the reds offer silky textures, vibrant fruit and refined tannins that reveal the elegance of Savoie’s indigenous grapes. Across the entire range, Adrien Berlioz produces wines that are honest, expressive and deeply rooted in their Alpine origins, making the estate one of the most respected names in contemporary Savoie.
