The Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Clos de l'Argillieres 2013 from Roch is made from a manual selection of the best grapes from the vineyard of the same name, a very small parcel made up of plants with an average age of 65 years, situated in the southernmost part of Nuits-Saint-Georges.

This produces wines that tend to be very straight and mineral. Ageing takes place in 228-litre oak barrels, in line with the Burgundy style, produced by combining tradition and innovation.

This Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Clos de l'Argillieres 2013 from Prieure Roch expresses itself in the glass with an intense and bright ruby red colour, the nose offers notes of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, sweet spices. On the palate it shows great harmony, even though acidity and minerality are very evident. The finish is very long, for a wine well suited to ageing.
